HOWE, Gregory “Greg” Howe

HOWE, Gregory “Greg” –  On Friday, June 9, 2023, in his 78th year, with the love of his life by his side, he peacefully slipped away from us at Stouffville Creek Retirement Home.

Greg is survived by his loving wife, Dorene.

They were married on July 21, 1979, at their “happy place,” and at that time, Greg became stepdad to Gail (Wayne) Shepherd, Robert (Brenda) Vaughan and Rick (Carole) Vaughan.

He was very happy and proud to be grandpa to Crystal (Jeff), Chris (Theresa), Meagan, Hailey and Kelsey (Dylan); and great-grandpa to Cohen, Blake and Brynlee.

Greg is also survived by his sister, Beryle Howe; and cousin, Theresa Boyd.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Rose (Lyttle); and his sister, Margaret Howe. He will be greatly missed by all of his wonderful friends and family.

Greg had three great loves in his life, Dorene; his passion for teaching (at Humber College); and his cottage, where he kept his beach impeccable and many very special memories were made.

In following with Greg’s wishes, a private family service will be held at the Stouffville Cemetery.
