ZUBYCK, Greyson Derek –  It is with very heavy hearts that John and Shelly Zubyck announce the passing of their sweet, little boy Greyson Derek.

In Greyson’s final days he was surrounded by his loving family and friends who have all been touched in some way by him throughout his short, yet very memorable life.

In the arms of his parents, Greyson passed on December 26th at 11:11am.

It is John and Shelly’s hope that with Greyson’s passing people are reminded how precious life is and that many are positively impacted by him.

Greyson will be missed and remembered with a smile by his parents, John and Shelly, his big brother and buddy Kohen, his Grandma Sue, Grandma Colleen (Mike), Uncles and Aunts Celeste (Denis), Jim (Susan), Nick (Marie), Heather, Gord (Lisa), Todd (Julianna), cousins Sarah, Paris, Georgia, Charlotte, Travis, Tatum, Matthew, Jules, Liam, Simon, Lindsay, Gabrielle, Gordie, Lilli, Cole, and Kaia, Great Grandmas Edna and Beatrice.

Greyson will be welcomed with open arms by his predeceased Poppa George, Grandpa Gord, Uncle Dan and Cousin Derek.

A special thank you to Dr. Leger-Nolet, Dr. Dubois, Dr. Goddard and the amazing nurses and staff at the Temiskaming Hospital.

The Zubyck and Culhane families will receive guests on January 3, 2016 at Saint-Croix/ Holy Cross Catholic Church in Haileybury at 4:00pm for a memorial mass.

Father Pat Lafleur officiating. A reception will follow at the Haileybury Community Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gord Zubyck Memorial Fund for our community’s youth track and field program on behalf of Greyson.
