Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday May 28th, 2025 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Tubb. Loving father of Laura Mustard (John), Brian (Cheryl) and Caroline Gronke (Howard Pickett). Dear grandfather of Ryan and Eric Gronke, Ila and Margot Lindsay. Brother of Erica Shelton and the late George Gronke. Armin will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.  Born in Lodz, Poland, Armin trained as a tool and die maker in Germany before immigrating to Canada after the war.

He was a 42 year employee of General Motors (North Plant) in Oshawa. Visitation will be held at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Monday June 2nd, 2025 from 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service and reception will be held on Tuesday June 3rd, 2025 at 1 pm, followed by interment at Mount Lawn Cemetery. Donations in memory of Armin to Save the Children Canada or War Child Canada would be appreciated.
