GRUSZCZYNSK, Michael Gruszczynski

passed away peacefully at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth. Born in Germany son of Dagmar (Kriebel) Gruszczynski and the late Josef Gruszczynski. Michael is survived by his true love and best friend of 52 years Karen (Wadsworth) Gruszczynski.

He was a proud and loving father of Ian (Arlen), and Adam (Jacinda), and grandfather of Axel and Quorra.

Survived by his sister Gaby (John), sister-in-law Beverley (Jim), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister-in-law Dorothy (Peter).

Michael was a member of Stratford Rotary Club for several years serving on numerous committees and earning a Paul Harris award. For many years he enjoyed participating in community theatre in the Toronto area, both on and off stage, winning an award for lighting design. He also obtained his private pilot license after earning a flying scholarship through Air Cadets.

Michael’s family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers at the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth for their kind and compassionate care during his stay there.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Michael’s life will be held at W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St. Stratford ON. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 pm with words of remembrance at 2:30pm.
