GUMIELA, Robert Gumiela – Obituary

GUMIELA, Robert – Peacefully passed away at the Crown Ridge Place on Monday, October 5, 2015 at the age of 92 years.

Robert, former resident of the Richmond Retirement Home of Belleville, was a WWII veteran.

He was predeceased by his wife Jean Gumiela, after 38 years of marriage.

Loving father to Vickie Williams & her husband Brian of Belleville and Robert Gumiela & his wife Roxanna of Mississauga.

Dear grandfather to Christopher, Jason (Jana), Matthew (Keri), Adam, and Elyse Williams; and Joseph Gumiela, Auralea Gumiela, and Rachael (Scott) Burwell.

Loving great grandfather of Owen, Mia, Grace, Jack, and Aurora Williams; and Stella Burwell.

At the family’s request cremation has taken place. The family invites friends to the Royal Canadian Legion, 101 Church Street, Mississauga on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 2-9 pm with a Veteran’s Service to be held at 7:30 pm. Interment in Toronto to rest with his wife Jean at a later date.
