GUNN, Allan McClary Grove “Al” Gunn

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, February 16, 2026 at the Maples Home for Seniors. Al Gunn formerly of Hickson in his 94th year.

Beloved husband of the late Donna (Edwards) Gunn who predeceased him March 7, 1999. Loving father of Lee & husband Dan Payne of London, Kim & husband John Zettel of Katrine, Karen & husband Kevin McNab of Shakespeare, Pam & husband Luis Avalos of Waterloo and Tracey & husband Rolando Alvarez of Mississauga, He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Kelly, Aaron, Lindsay, Megan, Amy, Scott, Trevor, Marcel, Mitchell, Daniel, Josh and his 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Noreen Gunn of London.

Cherished partner of Bertha Dafoe with who he shared 20 years and whom predeceased him June 20, 2022 and is remembered by her children Debbie (Jim) Wilks, Cathy (Carl) Zimmer, Doug (Edie) Dafoe, Marion Shelhamer and Dan Dafoe.

Predeceased by his parents Kenneth & Nora (White ) Gunn, sisters Sheila Davies , Margaret Gunn and Elizabeth Gunn.

Al farmed at RR#7 Woodstock for many years.

A private family service will take place at the Francis Chapel of the Glendinning Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock St.N. Tavistock.
