Peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at the age of 79. Cherished father of Kim Haldenby and Dean Haldenby. Proud grandfather of Zackery, Chastity, Kyla, Natalie and Katie. Great grandfather of Candace, Harmony, Faith, Gracie, Zack Jr., Jackson, Mya, Annabell, Malayah and Liza. Brother of Shalmir Brannen (Paul).

Eric could always be found on the road as a long-haul truck driver until his last trip and retirement in August of 2024. He was proud to be the owner and operator of Haldenby Trucking for over 60 years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH). A heartfelt thank you to Care Partners and Bayshore for the care and compassion given to Eric and our family.
