It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mona Jacobs (née Hall) at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at the age of 77 years.
Loving mother of the late Stella Jacobs, Theresa Jacobs (Roy Thompson) and the late Ann Jacobs. Treasured grandmother of Matthew Jacobs (Joeanna), Spencer Jacobs (Alene David), the late Dominic Jacobs, Christian Francis (Katie), Morgan Jackson (Elwyn), Carlee King (Joshua), Feryn King (James), Gordon King (Branka), Mary Jacobs and Gracie Thompson and great-grandmother of Lonaiya, Karter, Hollan, Ivory, Love, Beauty, Dominic, McKenzie (Carsten), McKinleigh, Wrenlee, Kyden, Kayden, Jett, Letti Ayven, Onyx and the late Adelina. Dear sister of Louise Hall, the late David Hall, Yvonne Leaf (Lawrence), Robert Hall (Connie), Gene Hall, Jessica Hall and Jennine Hall. Cherished godmother of Arnold Jock, Stephanie Buckshot, Nate Bigtree, Jason Hall and Shannon Hall. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents David Hall and Ida Tarbell.

Mona’s family will welcome loved ones and friends at 79 Park Street, Akwesasne, QC from 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 13th, 2025.

Words will be spoken at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 79 Park Street, Akwesasne, QC, followed by cremation.
