HALLER , Theo ‘Ted’ Haller

Peacefully passed at Mackenzie Health Hospital, Richmond Hill, on Friday, August 8th, 2025, Ted Haller, at the age of 95 years.

Beloved husband for 72 years of Hanna Haller. Loving father of Chuck (Sandra), Grandfather of Kyle (Heather), Shane (deceased), and Lucas (Alessandra), Great-grandfather of Mary, Rosie and Mia.

Ted was a hard worker and a master craftsman in his trade of upholstery and never knew the words “good enough,” he accepted only excellence in all he did. His passion was hunting with his son and weekends spent fishing at the cottage. He also loved gardening, tending to his many fruit trees and vegetable plants, which he did until the very end. Being outdoors was his favorite place to be.

His dedication to his wife Hanna was unending, which showed through his devoted care of her until he could no longer. His last wish was to let her know “we made a great team.” He was loved and respected by all that knew him and will be greatly missed by all.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Tuesday from 4 – 8 o’clock. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday morning, August 13 at 11 o’clock, followed by cremation.

Following the funeral service, a reception will be held at the funeral home.
