Loving husband to Laurene (Erb) Hallman for 67 years. Loved father of Marilyn (Bruce) Meyers, Patricia (Carson) Russell and Gary Hallman. Cherished grandfather to Rachel Daly, Angelee Hooton, Jack Hooton, Brandon Meyers, Chad (Shauna) Meyers, and Jillian (Jason) Roberts; great-grandfather to Tristan, Jack, and Leah Daly, Cassian Meyers-Roberts.Survived and lovingly remembered by his sisters Willa Albrecht, Flo (Don) Steers, Miriam Sallans, Jan (Gord) Burmaster, Sharon (Ron) Albrecht, and sister-in-law Ellen (Don) Cober, and brother-in-law Elton Kropf.Predeceased by his parents Simon and Ida (Snyder) Hallman, and Earle and Edith Erb, Sylvia Kropf, Don Albrecht, Willard Sallans, Hubert and Dorothy Yantzi and Irene Stockdale.David worked as an electrician for 50 years until he was 8o, the last twenty years for Dave’s Electric. A quiet and gentle man, he loved music and gardening, but above all the Good News of Jesus Christ. In his retirement he volunteered with MCC Thrift on Kent, and served on various mission trips.
