HANSEN , Janet Noreen Hansen

It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janet Noreen Hansen on August 22, 2025 in her 63rd year with family and friends by her side. A woman of resilience, sass, and spirited sense of humour, she was a beacon of light who never refrained from speaking her mind. Janet, who was as comfortable with a power tool in her hand as she was in her high heels and elegant dress, was always a force to be reckoned with. Yet, her kindness, thoughtfulness and giving nature will forever be enshrined in our hearts.

Janet’s proudest accomplishment and most profound joy were her children. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy in the form of her two beloved children: Kathrine Helene Hansen and Kristoffer Alexander Hansen (Ayana).

Janet, predeceased by her mother Ruth Wilkinson, is survived by her loving father, Leif Olsen and Step Mum Sharon, cherished sister of Anne LeBlanc (Daniel), Nieces Chrystal Michelle LeBlanc (Craig), Elyse Renee LeBlanc (Ashik) and adoring great aunt to Lucas Eaton. In addition to family, Janet had a strong supportive network of friends and “work family” at Chemetics.

Our dear Janet was outspoken, passionate and above all, one of a kind. With her tenacity and zest for life, she will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with immediate friends and family.
