HANVEY, Vera Hanvey

We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2026, at the age of 84, Vera Hanvey (Kincardine, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Vera departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Vera. Though Vera may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Campbell (Sonny) and Annie Campbell; her siblings, Ivan (late Avril), Roy and Dereena (Ron); and her aunt Nellie.

She is survived by: her children, Julie Durocher (Chris) and Peter Hanvey; her grandson Jared Durocher; her sister-in-law Jayne MacQuarrie (late John); and her godson Philip McDowell (Debbie).
