It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear mother at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, a day after her 83rd birthday, following a short but brave journey through vascular dementia. Isabel passed away peacefully, with daughter Elaine and great niece Jennifer by her side in her final moments.

Isabel was the beloved wife of over 60 years to the late Peter Hardie (2021) and will be lovingly remembered by her son Bradley (late Karen), and her loving daughter Elaine and her husband Mike.

She is sadly missed by grandchildren Jordan (Emily), Christopher, Peter Graeme (Aayushi) and Laura and cherished great grandchildren Maria and Julia.

Isabel was the dear sister of older brother Bill (Lois) and younger brother Bob (Linda), sister-in-law to both David (Ellen Mae) and Madeline (Rick). She was also a dear aunt to Debbie (predeceased), George, Heather, Ryan, Jamie, Davida, Boyd, Corinne and Christopher and great aunt to Jennifer, Gage, Emerson, Madeleine, Liliana, Gareth, Everett, Boston and Autumn.

In keeping with Isabel’s wishes, there will be no memorial service. Cremation has taken place.
