HARDY, Deborah Anne MacDonald-Hardy
June 1, 1953 - November 30, 2025
Deborah (Debbie) Anne MacDonald-Hardy, beloved wife, devoted mother, proud
grandmother/great grandmother, and truehearted friend passed away in the comfort of her
home surrounded by her loved ones on November 30th, 2025.
Born on June 1st, 1953 in Newcastle, New Brunswick. Was the beloved daughter of James
Waye and Nellie McKenna. From an early age, it was clear that she possessed a kind spirit
that would shape her life and everyone who knew her.
To her family and friends Debbie was a bright soul with a laugh that could warm your heart.
Her presence brought comfort, her kindness left an imprint, and her love will be carried
forward with the lives she touched.
Debbie leaves behind her devoted husband: Leigh Hardy, her children: Michelle (Chris)
Dunn and Sherry Phillips, her sisters: Connie (Wade) MacDonald and Corinna Garrah , her
grandchildren: Christopher (Dana) MacDonald, Samantha Cabel, Austin Dunn, Dustin Dunn,
Stephanie Phillips, and Georgia Phillips, great-grandchildren: Lillian, Henry, Nora, and
Chase, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will forever
cherish the memories they shared. She is reunited with her daughter Christine, her siblings
Jeff Kearnes and Lori McKenna and so many loved ones who now welcome her with open
arms.
All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.
Though words cannot fully capture the depth of this loss, those who loved Debbie will
remember her for her empathetic soul, passionate spirit, and beautiful love she had and
shared to all around her. Her memory will remain a blessing forever.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Scleroderma Canada.
