HARDY, Robert Charles Hardy
Passed away peacefully at LHSC-Victoria Hospital on September 14, 2025. Born in Fort Erie, Ontario, Robert was known for his quiet nature, steady presence, and deep loyalty to those he loved. Though he often kept to himself, he was a man of warmth, strength, and understated humor — qualities that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Robert worked for many years at Corey’s Auto Wreckers, where he was known as a reliable and hard-working member of the team. Later, he discovered a new passion in truck driving, a career that brought him great satisfaction and allowed him to explore the open road on his own terms. He was also a longtime member of the Loyal Order of Moose in London, Ontario, where he found community and camaraderie among friends. He was predeceased by his mother and stepfather, Patricia and Stuart Kitchen, his father, Lloyd Hardy, and his brothers Bruce and Jim Hardy. His memory will be cherished and deeply missed by his sisters Barb, Marie, Linda, and Carolyn; his Aunt Shirley; as well as his many nieces, nephews, family and good friends who knew and loved him greatly. Robert lived a life of quiet dignity. He never sought attention, but he earned deep respect through his actions and his steady, dependable nature. His presence will be missed more than words can express. He will be remembered always with love and gratitude.
