Philip Graham “Phil” Harmer of Drumbo passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Woodstock Hospital, in his 83rd year.

Dear father of Beth (Doug) McRuer of Ayr, Joanne (Tim) Yantzi of Shakespeare, and Scott (Deanne) of Alban.
He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Will, Matthew, Keith, Reese, Leah, Morgan, and Hayley.
Phil is also remembered by his sister, Janet Harmer of Drumbo.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ray and Esther (McVittie) Harmer.

Phil operated Harmer’s Market in Drumbo for 18 years and was a dedicated member of his community.
He served on the Drumbo Fire Department for 44 years, retiring as District Chief,
and was a 49-year member of the Drumbo Lions Club.
He was also actively involved in the Drumbo Heritage Society, the Drumbo Cemetery Board,
and coached for many years with Drumbo Minor Ball and Drumbo Minor Hockey.

An avid antique car enthusiast and traveler, Phil also enjoyed attending local arenas and ballparks to support
his children, grandchildren, and local teams.
He will be dearly missed by many friends in the Drumbo community, where he was known for his friendly chats
during his daily walks and at community events.

A private family graveside service will take place at Drumbo Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Drumbo Lions Club or the Drumbo Heritage Society would be appreciated by the family.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Woodstock Hospital for their care and support.
