KEENE, Harold “Happy Harry” Russel Keene

KEENE, Harold “Happy Harry” Russel   –  Harold laid down his working tools peacefully, on November 2, 2023, at Sunnybrook, at the age of 93.

He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Theysmeyer (Jef Theysmeyer); and son, Jonathan Brunet (Josee Brisson); as well as his nephew, Brad Evans; and niece, Denise; who survive his beloved late wife, Marylyn Keene (nee Sparkes).

He was a grandfather to Jean-Pierre, Jacqueline, Nico, and Sophie; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Harold proudly served his country in the Canadian Navy during the Korean War on the H.M.C.S. Haida as a Morse Code Operator.

He also served as a Vice President of The Becker Milk Company for many years.

Funeral Service will be held at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Rd., Toronto, ON M4T 2V8, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, with Visitation starting at 1 p.m. Chapel Service at 2 p.m. and Reception from 3 to 5 p.m.
