DEWAR, Harold Thomas ‘Harry’ Dewar Obituary
DEWAR, Harold Thomas ‘Harry’ – (October 26, 1926 – October 5, 2015) – Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on October 5, 2015 with his family by his side.
Harry is lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Anita (O’Neill), his children, Debbie (Richard Monk) and John (Gina Grosenick) and his grandchildren, Alex, Eric, Jeremy, Katrina and Sam.
He was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Marion, and will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and his cousin, Maureen.
Harry was the first employee at Computing Devices Canada (General Dynamics), founded in 1948, remaining there for most of his career. He was active in sports, a lifelong golfer, an artist, storyteller and a mentor.

In memory of Harry’s life, friends are invited to a funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Isidore’s R.C. Church, 1135 March Road, Kanata, Ontario on Monday, October 26th. Visitation is at 10:00 a.m., mass at 11:00 a.m. and reception to follow in the parish hall.
