HARRISON , Karen Harrison (née Schmidt)

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Karen Harrison (née Schmidt), who passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the age of 61.

Karen will be deeply missed by her children, Portia, Taylor (Cody), and Xavier (Alex); and her two grandchildren, Charlotte and Quinn.

She is survived by her brother Rob (Eva) and two nephews, Erik and Ryan. Karen was predeceased by her loving parents, Robert and Helen Schmidt.

Karen will be laid to rest with her parents at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be held by close family; no formal service will follow.

The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and staff at both Hamilton General and Niagara Health System for their attentive care for Karen over the last few weeks.
