HEASLER, Bill Heasler

It is with great sadness that the family of Bill Heasler announce his unexpected passing at the Brockville General Hospital, surrounded by loved ones on March 6, 2026.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Marlene Heasler (nee Rannells). Loving son Chad Heasler and grandson Cameron Mathews ( Ciara) and his mother Christina Mathews.

Bill is also survived by his sisters-in-law Elaine Geneau (Danny) and Karen Pruner (Stephen) and his brother-in-law Rick Rannells. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews especially Caitlyn Geneau (Robi), Hillary Geneau (Greg) and Ally Geneau-Kam (Andrew). Bill will also be missed by his 4 legged companions Cooper, Gracie and Max. Bill is predeceased by his parents Wilmot “Bill” Heasler and Ethel Heasler (nee Richardson) and a brother-in-law Murray Rannells. Bill enjoyed a long career at Black and Decker where he met many longstanding friends. Followed by a wonderful retirement that allowed him to enjoy his friends and family.

Friends and family may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street east, Brockville on March 21,2026 for a Memorial Reception from 1-3 pm.
