William was a devoted husband to Clara, with whom he shared 30 wonderful years together. He was a proud and loving father to Glen (Adonna), Joel (Adriana), Tara (Mark), Destinee (Conroy), and Wynter.

He was also a cherished grandfather to Michelle, Taylor, Emily, Jayden, Logan, Corryin, and Amara.

William was predeceased by his mother, Flo Heibert, his sister Flora, and his brother Charlie.

William was known as a tinker with a creative mind and a playful spirit. He enjoyed coming up with clever ideas and had a bit of mischief about him. People often found themselves laughing or smiling around him, thanks to his easy charm and sense of humor. He was also enjoyed writing and even penned a few books about fantasy and science fiction adventures.

Visitation will occur on Saturday June 21st 2025 at the Oshawa Funeral Home located at 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 2L4 from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Followed by a service in the chapel at 1:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family are kindly asking for donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the SickKids Foundation.
