EVANOFF, Helen Evanoff – Obituary

EVANOFF, Helen  –  “Lenche” died peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 86.

Helen lived most of her life in Kitchener, working as a legal secretary until her retirement.

She travelled widely and cared for her dear mother Pereshkeva (nee Skabrin) Evanoff for the final years of her life. Teta Lenche is survived by her dear sister Anne (Anche) Caulford.

Our dear aunt and great aunt remains a special friend in our lives and hearts. “Teta Lenche” will be fondly remembered by her niece Christine, nephew Paul and family Nicholas, Perry, Taylor, Tophey, Becky, Alex, Teddy, Courtney and Caroline – and her great-nieces and nephew.

A private, intimate graveside service has taken place.

A memorial mass and remembrance will be held in Toronto at a later date.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to The Kitchener Food Bank.

Our family extends our deep thanks to Dr. Rahim Abdulhussein, palliative care for ensuring Lenche’s comfort and dignity.
