GARVEY, Helen Patricia (Gooley) Garvey Obituary

GARVEY, Helen Patricia (nee Gooley) – Peacefully surrounded by her family at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the age of 88.

Beloved wife of the late Robert Victor Garvey.

Loving mother of Dianne McIntyre, Bev Garvey, (Jim Gooley), Mary Ellen Barry (Frank), Bob Garvey, Lorrie Wilson (Alan), Bill Garvey, Jim Garvey and the late Pat Johnson (Jack).

Grandma Helen will be sadly missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents, Daniel Gooley and Mae English, siblings, Francis, Mary Corrin, Dorothy Barcroft, Leo, Mike, Earl and Lorraine Burgess. Sister-in-law of Muriel Gooley, Jack Burgess and Sister Lucille Garvey.

Friends will be received at the Highland Park funeral home, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Sunday, December 27th from 1 – 4 p.m. Parish prayers will take place at 4 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1830 Keene Rd. on Monday, December 28th at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
