KOSZONITS, Helen (Ilona) Koszonits

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Koszonits on January 3, 2024.

Helen slipped away peacefully, with her two children at her side, leaving behind son, Peter, daughter, Eva (Frank); and grandchildren, Monica, James, Carter, Emily, and Brigitte.

Born in Csorna, Hungary, on May 18, 1942, Helen had retired from CIBC, thereafter volunteering her time to serve her church.

While a devoted and loyal friend to many, Helen was first and foremost an endlessly loving wife, mother, and grandmother. The memory of her smile and kindness will brighten all of our lives forever.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary RC Church. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., interment will follow at York Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Elizabeth of Hungary RC Church.
