RICCO, Helen  –

Peacefully, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

Helen Ricco of Prinyers Cove, RR#4, Picton, died at the age of 93.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Fenwick (nee Craig); and was the loving wife of 73 years to the late Leonard “Len” Ricco.

Helen was the cherished mother of Barbara and mother-in-law to her husband, Larry Lilly of RR#4, Picton; and also mother-in-law of Leo Brett of Woodbridge.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Carolyn Brett and son, Stephen.

Helen was the dearest grandmother of Tara and Lee Brett; and great-grandmother of Brett Emburgh.

She was predeceased by her great-granddaughter, Brooke Emburgh. Helen was predeceased by her sisters, Allison Eddie and Joyce Clark; and will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews, and dear friends.

Helen touched many lives and will be remembered as a most generous being, kind soul and loving friend.

Thank you to Blessed Bridges and Staff, you were a lifeline for our family for a number of years. Heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at the Briargate Retirement Home. Your compassion and level of care were a great comfort to mom and our family.

Helen is resting at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 2 p.m., with Visitation for 1 hour prior to the Service. A Reception and Celebration to follow at Burley Hall, 3442 County Road 7, Cressy, at 3 p.m. Private inurnment in the family plot at Cressy United Church Cemetery at a later date.
