Helen Theresa Bensette (née Meloche)

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Helen Theresa Bensette (nee Meloche) on July 25, 2025. Reunited with her spouse Garnet Bensette (1998). Reunited with her parents Rose and Emmanual Meloche.

Loving mother to Connie. Cookie grandma to Tylene and Jolene. Cherished great grandmother to Avery, Braedon, and Kayla. Reunited with her brother Earl and sisters Ruby, Mildred, Rita, Shirley, Marie, and Margaret. She will forever be missed by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and her many friends.

Helen was a part of the Life After 50 where she ran the Euchre Club for over 30 years. She was an avid and great shuffle board player at the Legion Branch 255. She retired from the Green Giant Freezer plant, where she worked for many years. She enjoyed her bus tours with her many friends, most importantly, above all else, she loved her family more than anything and she will be greatly missed.

A visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. (519-253-7234) on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens. In memory of Helen, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
