HENDERSON, Gail Cynthia Henderson (née Pfeifer)

It is with great sadness that the family of Gail Cynthia Henderson announces her peaceful passing on May 30, 2025, at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 61.

Born in Red Lake, Ontario, Gail was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She dedicated over 40 years to the Northwestern Health Unit, where her compassion left a lasting impact.

Gail was the cherished wife of Paul Henderson for 37 years, and devoted mother to Jayme and Tyler (Justine). She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Eleanor. She is lovingly remembered by her mother Mary Pfeifer, sister Carol (John), brother Doug (Alli), and her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Harold Pfeifer.

Gail’s gentle spirit shone through in her love for knitting, sewing, gardening—especially her roses—and most importantly, spending time with family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 6 at 7:00 PM at the Super 8 Conference Centre in Red Lake. Interment will follow Saturday, June 7 at 11:00 AM at the Balmertown Cemetery.
