HENDRICKX, Pete Hendrickx

It is with broken hearts that the family of Pete Hendrickx announces his sudden passing on June 29, 2025, at the age of 44.

Beloved husband of Ariel Hendrickx for 15 wonderful years. Proud and devoted father to Ethen Dale, Maddison, and Zander. Cherished son of Alphonse Hendrickx (Anita Ward) and Lori Nieuborg, and son-in-law to Frank and Darlene Lefaivre.

Pete will be deeply missed by his brother Joe (Malorie) Hendrickx, and brother-in-law Coleman Lefaivre (Leah). Loving uncle to Ceilidh and Cassidy Hendrickx, Brody Cahill, and Amrya Cahill. Proud godfather to Calee Oliver, Gunner Marsh, Lennex Marsh, Oliva Hollingsworth, and Liam Szmiett.

He will be fondly remembered by close friends Joe Marsh, Tami Ridley, and Bobby Szmiett Jr., as well as by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Pete was known for his charisma, kindness, and infectious sense of humor. He embraced life fully and welcomed everyone with open arms.

A passionate outdoorsman, Pete loved hunting, fishing, and swimming with his kids. He was a hardworking man and proud owner-operator of Superior Builders, which he ran alongside his cousin Jason Bastiaansen for many years.
He loved helping others and was a proud supporter of local businesses.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to all the first responders and the Bluewater Health care team for their compassion and care.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m. at DENNING’S OF FOREST. A private family service will take place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
