FLOYD, Henry “Hank” M.  –

Passed away peacefully, on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the Village of Taunton Mills, Whitby, at the age of 97 years.

Beloved husband for 68 years of the late Dorothy Floyd (nee Taylor).

Devoted father of the late Carolyn Munson (Mike), Peter Floyd (Karen) of Blackstock, ON, Barbara Magee (Ken) of Mississauga and Elizbeth Floyd of Toronto.

Proud grandfather of Kathryn Browne (David), Thomas Magee (Alison) Kimberly Munson, Nicholas Munson (Danny), Jennifer Alls (Chris), Erin Kernohan (Chris) and Laurie Turner (Matt); and many great-grandchildren.

Hank was Senior Executive with a number of firms and former President of GBC Canada Inc., Johnston & Daniel Ltd. Realtor, Nashua Murritt Ltd. and The Munroe Division of Litton Industries.

He served as People’s Warden at St. George’s on-the-Hill Anglican Church in 1991. Hank was a Shriner, 32nd degree Mason, Past Master of Oakridge Lodge #708 GRC London, ON.

A family Visitation will be held at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke, on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 12-1 p.m. A family Funeral Service to follow at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at St. George’s on-the-Hill Church Cemetery.
