HETHERINGTON, Andy Hetherington

Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 16, 2026. Born in Chesley, Ontario on August 13, 1939, James Andrew Hetherington of Shallow Lake, was in his 87th year.

Beloved husband of the late Corinne Hetherington (nee Wilson). Loving father of Jay Hetherington of Shallow Lake and Joel Hetherington (Tracy) of Wiarton. Cherished grandpa of Justin. Andy will also be missed by his nephew Tim Wilson (Tara) and by all his friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Hetherington, and by his brother-in-law Perry Wilson (Noreen).

In keeping with Andy’s wishes, cremation is taking place and a private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
