HILL, Marlene HILL

Passed away at the PeopleCare Delhi Long Term Care on Thursday, September 4th, 2025 in her 82nd year.  Beloved spouse of Clare McLaren of Simcoe.  Loving mother of Rhonda Ferrell of Simcoe and the late Mark Herrmann (1990).  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of Amber Tate (Zach) of Brantford, son Ryan;  and Harley Ferrell (Allison) of Nottawa, children Corbin & Colton.  Sadly missed by her brother William Barber of Port Dover.  Marlene will be lovingly remembered by Clare’s children, Jack (Donna) of LaSalle, Susan of Tillsonburg and the late David McLaren (2018).  Predeceased by her parents, the late Cecil & Henryetta Barber and by brothers Keith & Gerald Barber.  A private family visitation will be held at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe.  Private interment: Walsh United Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Marlene are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of H-N.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
