
Surrounded by love, Taylor passed away on June 4th, 2025 at Gilmore Lodge in Fort Erie at the age of 95. Loving husband of nearly 73 years to Carol Ruth (née Midgley).
Proud father of James Taylor (Linda) Hindle, Lisa Carol (Kevin) Allen, and Heather Elizabeth (Greg) Miller. He adored his grandchildren, Justin (Carrie) Allen, Nathan (Amy) Hindle, Jordan (Dominic) Allen, Tyler (Tegan) Hindle, Taylor Miller, Tracy (Billy Rieck) Miller, and Jeff (Karen) Miller. Cherished great-grandfather to Weston, Ruby, Stella, Jackson, Emerson, Easton, Levon, Tilly, Lainey, Evan, Akyra, Mason, and Royce.
Taylor was a cherished brother-in-law to Carlton (the late Daisy) Midgley, Shirley (the late Keith) Plato, and Elaine (the late William) Cerbrynski. He is survived by a large extended family of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Florence Hindle, and sisters Norma (Jack) Loomis and Joyce Hindle.
Taylor was employed for over 42 years with DuPont Corporation in Buffalo, Richmond, VA, and Japan. A Korean War veteran who served with the U.S. Army, he was also an affiliate member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 71 in Fort Erie. He enjoyed traveling with Carol, fishing, hunting, and woodworking.

Interment of cremated remains to follow at McAffee Cemetery, with a reception afterward.
