HINES, Randy Hines

Randy Hines passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, at the age of 71. He was reunited with his beloved parents, Helen and Clarence. Randy is lovingly remembered by his family, especially his siblings Leona Lampron (2022) (Leo, 1997) and Barbara Lampron (2025) (André).

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, including Debbie Letwin (John), Kimberley Alice, Katherine Deschamps (Christopher), and Tiffany Brennan (Jeremy). He was also a proud great-uncle to Jenna, Kerwin (Kitty), Guenevere, Rowan, Sawyer, Ephrim, Hannah, and Calin, and great-great-uncle of Amelia.

Randy had a special bond with his two furry companions, Charlie and Tucker, who will miss him dearly.

Randy began his career as a Registered Mechanic in the United States before returning to Windsor, where he worked at Ford Motor Company for over 20 years until his retirement. Known affectionately as “Mr. Fix-It,” he had a natural talent for repairing, building, and solving problems. If Randy couldn’t fix it, no one could.

He was an avid lover of the outdoors, particularly tending to his vegetable gardens, and had a special place in his heart for animals, especially dogs. Randy’s larger-than-life presence and kind heart left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 6:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
