HODGSON, Joy Anne Hodgson

Passed peacefully at Providence Villa on Friday, January 2nd, 2026, after her journey with cancer, predeceased, by her father Rodney Hodgson.

Forever loved and missed by her mother Alice, sister Denise, brother-in-law Pat, John and family, nephews and nieces Jono (Samantha), Bryan, Ashley (John), Aiden and Declan, Bill (a brother in every way that mattered), and her many, many cousins, extended family and friends.

In our hearts we will always remember Joy, her kind and generous spirit and forever miss her coming into our kitchens with her smiling face and joyous laugh.

Denise and Joy grew up on Larwood and shared many wonderful childhood memories with Aunts and Uncles, cousins and friends.

Mom looks forward to being rejoined with her one day to put her arms around her and tell her how much she misses and loves her so.

A special thank you to Aunt Germaine, Bill and Jeff for being there when needed, and our heartfelt gratitude to all the wonderful doctors and nurses at Scarborough General Hospital and Providence Villa.
