HOPE, Gordon Leonard – Gordon Hope, age 88, passed away peacefully at Metropolitan Hospital in Windsor on October 2, 2015.

Born June 11, 1927 in Windsor to Leonard and Maude Hope. Loving husband of 65 years to Mary Catherine. Father of Cathy Hope DeWolfe of Windsor and Dana Demers (Barry) of West Bloomfield. Grandfather to Ashley and Zachary DeWolfe and Holly Demers. Brother of Leah Morris and brother-in-law of Edie Fyall.

Gord was employed at Ford Motor Co. for 47 years. He loved sailing and was a member of Southport Sailing Club. He spent his retirement enjoying life with his wife Mary. Gord cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family and his quick wit that always kept us laughing.

A private memorial service will be held a a future date.
