HOARE, Stephen Patrick Hoare

Passed away suddenly at home in Sidney, BC at the age of 71. Stephen was born in Halifax, NS and was predeceased by his parents, sister, brother, Terry then 10 days after Stephen’s death, his brother Tim passed away.

Stephen often spoke fondly about his time working as a groom with thoroughbred racehorses at Hastings Racecourse in Vancouver & Sandown Racetrack in North Saanich.

The Loves of his life were his Gibson guitar ‘Gwendolyn’ & his Fender Strata ‘Carmelita’. Stephen never married, he fell in love with “D” when he was 17 though she married & moved on, he stayed loyal to that one love until his final breath hoping to one day be with her in heaven.

Stephen was Loved.  He will be missed by those that knew him.
