Devoted Nan to Shauna and Mike, Sarah, Maddison and Matt, Hannah and Jordan, and Abby.
Cherished Great Nan to Braden, William, Alexus, Ethan, Weston and Owen.
Maureen found her greatest happiness in the company of her loved ones. Family gatherings were her favourite moments, filled with laughter, love, and games around the kitchen table. She had a spirited love for Scrabble, cards, bingo, and a lively round of balloon badminton, where her competitive yet playful nature always shone through. Maureen enjoyed spending time in her garden, where she took quiet pride in caring for her flowers and plants. She also had a long-standing appreciation for figure skating and ice dancing routines. Her days were made complete with a comforting cup of orange pekoe tea in hand, a simple pleasure she cherished.
A special thank you to the staff and residents at Aspira Traditions Retirement living in Oshawa for making Maureen feel welcomed and appreciated during her stay.
A celebration of life will be held at the Courtice Funeral Chapel located at 1587 Durham Regional Hwy 2, Courtice, Ontario L1E 2R7 on Wednesday May 28 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
