HOWARTH, Luba Mary Howarth

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Luba Mary Howarth (née Muzyka) at Victoria Hospital, London, on February 8, 2026, at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late Steven Howarth (2024). Devoted mother to Sam Stewart and his wife Heather. Loving stepmom to Kathy Howarth and her husband Tom, Joanne Leggett and her husband Stephen, and Elizabeth Bullion and her husband Dean. Cherished grandmother of Sarah and Dave Balm, Jessica and Matt Kitchen, Alex and Danielle Bullion, and David Bullion and Chassidy Pazitny. Adoring great-grandma of Hunter and Theo Balm, Charlie and John Kitchen, Odin Bullion, and Madelyn and Kenzie Pazitny. Dear sister to her brother Bodan (Bob) Muzyka and his wife Paola, and aunt to Cheryl Muzyka and Steven Muzyka. Luba was predeceased by her mother Sabina Muzyka.

Luba was born in Asbestos Quebec Canada. In her early years her family relocated to Southern Ontario, where she spent most of her adult life working as a medical file transcriptionist. Steven and Luba spent 10 years in Cayuga, before moving to Hamilton where they lived an active lifestyle up until Steven’s passing. In the past year and a half Luba struggled with many health issues but remained positive and loving with a friendly smile for everyone around her. She shared her love widely, in small and beautiful ways.

Luba has been cremated, and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
