Hrdlicka, Ella Passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, with her son by her side, on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of Michael Hrdlicka (predeceased). Dear mother of Jan (Doreen), predeceased by children Rick (Leslie) and Lynn Jennings (Randy). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Kristen (Scott), Jeff (Holly), Robin (Mike), Laura (Bob), Lindsi and June. Also, great-grandmother of 7. She is also predated by her sister Valve in Estonia and will be missed by her niece Pille and her son Martin, also in Estonia. For many years, Ella and Mike were members of the Newcastle Golf and Country Club and when travelling, their clubs went with them. She also belonged to a bowling league and was a member of the Oshawa Senior Citizen Centre. Special thanks to the third-floor staff at Extendicare Assisted Living Facility Oshawa for the care that was provided during her stay. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home(124 King St. E., Oshawa).
