SEARLE, Hugh Harold  –  It is with deep sadness we share the news that Hugh Harold Searle passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital on May 13th, 2024 at 82 years of age from emphysema and lung cancer.

He was born on August 29th, 1941 in Toronto, Ontario where he lived his entire life.

He was hard working and resourceful. He worked up until 2022 driving “his kids” to school.

He is survived by his brother Bruce (Sally), his daughters Jannette (Mike), Deanne (Dewey), Amber (Brian), Chandra (Art), Karrie-Lynn (James) and Sharina, as well as his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, niece and nephews. He will also be missed by his extended family the Nakamichi’s, and many lifelong friends.

Hugh did not want any formal service of mourning but the family would like to ask any donations made in his memory go to the Canadian Lung Association.
