HUSSEY, Loretta “Laurie” Hussey

Passed away suddenly on January 26, 2026, at the age of 65. Reunited with her beloved husband of 40 years, Craig (2024). Cherished mother of Matthew (Elise), Andrew and Jessica. Proud Namma of Katie, George, Julia and Eleanor. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Linda Farrah, and mother-in-law Marion. Dear daughter in law of Ted Hussey (Brenda). Loving sister of Joanne Horton (Dave), Margie Farrah, Marie Virag (Steve) (late Bob Smith), Tony Farrah (Anne), Julie Lendorf (late Emil), late Joseph Farrah (Vicky), Anne Girard (late Ron), Chris Farrah, Michelle Ingolfo (Serafino), and sister-in-law of Susan Vermast (Mike), and Dave Hussey (Barb). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Laurie retired from Windsor Family Credit Union after 35 years. She held many roles over the years, finishing her career in administration.

She had a deep love for disco music and could never resist the joy of dancing. Known for her patient spirit, positive outlook, and gentle heart, she brought light to everyone around her. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her four beloved grandchildren, who were the true sparkle of her life.

At Laurie’s request, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME – BANWELL CHAPEL, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235), on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11:00 am until time of Eulogies at 1:00 pm in the Chapel.
