It is with deep sorrow that we say goodbye to the Rock of our family; our mentor, our friend.
Bob left us peacefully, in his own bed, on Saturday, October 11 with loved ones by his side.

In his 98th year, what a life he lived.  He made it all count.  Loving husband for so many decades to Jean (pre-deceased).  Incredible Dad to their five children; David (Mary), Gae (John pre-deceased), Robbie (pre-deceased) (MaryJane) Brian (pre-deceased) (Patti) and Heather (Graham).  Awesome Papa to a slew of grandchildren; Christopher, Jennifer, Timothy, Steven, Hayley, Danny, Nicholas, Kevin, Katherine and Robbie (pre-deceased).  Great Grandfather to thirteen whose parents will ensure that their children grow up knowing all about the great man who started this family. With much love to give he became a wonderful husband to his second wife, Caryl Lee (pre-deceased) and a caring step Dad to Heather.  It brought him joy to add two step grandchildren to his clan; Shalaya and Ethan.

All of his grandchildren will miss their Papa dearly.

Throughout the last six years he had a very special friend in Thelma.  He had such wonderful friends throughout his life.  His neighbour, Mike, wasn’t just a neighbour, but a true friend.  During his many years at Grafton Group he spoke rarely of his tremendous career, yet often of his friendships, the people he knew and cared about.
It’s not at all surprising that he touched the hearts of all who knew him well.

At Bob’s direction a funeral will not be held.  Rather than gathering to mourn my passing he chose gather to celebrate my life well lived and that is exactly what we will do.  Details to follow at a later date.
