With great sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Ida Imbesi in Toronto on February 7, 2026 at the age of 73. She leaves behind her beloved husband Giuseppe. Cherished mother of Domenic (Maggie), Patricia (Chris), and Robert (Maria). Dear grandmother of Gianmarco, Giuliana, Adam and Leonardo. Dear sister of the late Atanasio (Bertha), Francesca (late Annunziato), Antonetta (Pietro), Renzo (Rosa) and Aldo (Sandra). Ida will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Ida Imbesi, beloved wife, devoted mother, caring mother-in-law, and cherished grandmother, filled her home with love, laughter and grace. Her kindness and quiet strength touched everyone she met. Her legacy will be treasured forever by her family and all who were blessed to know her.

Relatives and friends are welcome to Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) for visitation on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 6 – 9 PM and Friday, February 13, 2026 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 9 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St.) on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 9:30 AM. Ida will then be laid to rest at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W., east of Caledonia Rd.).
