INGLIS, Margaret Edna Inglis (Cole)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished mother, Margaret Inglis (Cole), on June 5, 2025, at the age of 89. She has been happily reunited with her beloved husband, Donald.

Margaret is survived by her children: son Ken (Gail) Inglis, daughter Kareen (Bruce) Lepine, daughter Judy (Steve) White, and son Garry Inglis. She was a loving grandmother to Paula and Mandy Inglis, Carrie (Steve) McCallum, Angie (Jamie) Charbonneau, Chris (Caille) Leveck, Shannon (Nic) Leveck, and Dylan White. Margaret was also a proud great-grandmother to Kaeli (Tyler), Brennan (Pam), Owen, Grace, Kennedy, Rachel (Riley), Evan, and Lauren. She was a caring great-great-grandmother to Talen, Tyler Jr., and Jackson.

She will be deeply missed by her much-loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Margaret was predeceased by her sisters Florence, Muriel, Hazel, and her brother Don, as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, and her loving grandson, Casey.

Margaret was a quiet but mighty advocate for children and adults with special needs. She found joy in caring for others and dedicated much of her time to volunteering. Her passion and love shone through in her cooking and baking, and she was always ready to serve a four-course meal or a heaping plate of delicious treats. Margaret loved traveling, and in recent years, enjoyed long car rides, stopping off at bakeries or chip trucks along the way!

Margaret spent the final months of her life surrounded by her family, which was her most cherished and happy place.

Margaret’s final care has been entrusted to the Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Zohr Family Chapel. Interment will follow at Admaston Cemetery.
