COCKHEAD, Jack – Promoted to Glory from Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie, on Friday, October 2, 2015 with his family at his side.

Jack Cockhead, beloved husband of the late Doreen (nee Tovey), in his 84th year.

Loving father of Shawna (Stephen) Hopkins, Garwin Cockhead and Leona (Stephen) Corr. Loving papa of Braeden, Caleb and Ashton.

Jack began his service at Niagara Falls Citadel of The Salvation Army as a youngster and was an active participant in both the junior and senior band in Niagara Falls and at various corps for over 75 years. He completed his ministry at the Winterberry Heights Salvation Army (Stoney Creek). He was honoured to be a member of The Salvation Army’s Heritage Brass for the last 4 years.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at The Salvation Army Winterberry Heights Church (300 Winterberry Heights Drive, Stoney Creek).

The funeral service will be held at Winterberry Heights Church on Wednesday, October 7 at 2 pm. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at a later date in Niagara Falls.

If desired, donations may be made to the Winterberry Heights Salvation Army or Heritage Brass Band.
