BODI, James Anthony  –  James Anthony Bodi passed away, on June 14, 2023, in his 84th year.

He is survived by his beloved partner, Lynn Gibson; his children, Jason, Jennifer and James; and his siblings, Diane and Stephen.

He was predeceased by his father, George; mother, Katherine; stepmother, Anne; and elder brother, Victor.

Jim was a small businessman throughout his life, owning plating shops, metal manufacturing businesses and lately Barrett Technical, a specialty paint shop, which he continued to take care of right up to his death.

He enjoyed judo, hockey, squash and tennis in his younger years as well as travel when he could find time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to his favourite charities: The Nature Conservancy of Canada, Beyond Bride Rescue Foundation or Home on the Hill Supportive Housing.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 20th, at 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Following this will be a Reception at the Vue at the Royal Woodbine, 195 Galaxy Boulevard, Toronto.
