CARNEY, James Edward –

May 21, 1932 – July 13, 2023

Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, July 13, 2023.

Beloved father of Kathleen Ness; and grandfather to Dana Ness. Loving wife, Marian; stepchildren, Sharon (James), Diana (Grant) and Jamie; step-grandchildren Derek, Megan (Adam), Leo (Savannah), Andrew, and Nicholas; and great-grandad to baby Sylvan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James T. Carney and Kathleen E. Carney. Our shining light has gone home to his Savior. His passing has left a huge void in our hearts and those of his many close friends, but also left us with many happy memories to reflect on.

“We will miss you dear.”

As per Jim’s wishes, he will be cremated and a quiet family burial will take place.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at South Lake Hospital for their kindness, and also dear friends, Bruce and Margret Michon, for their support during Jim’s stay in the hospital.
