ROCKETT, James “Jim” Charles – After a brief fight with cancer at the Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday December 30, 2015 in his 77th year.

Beloved husband of Donna (nee Shaw) Rockett for over 57 years.

Dear father of Linda Rockett (Marlowe Mingo), Darlene Rockett (Doug Putland) and Cathy Cornell (John). Loved grandfather of Ed Chase (Sarah), Chad Mingo, Nick Putland (Sara), Heather Putland, late Adam Weaver and three great grandchildren.

Cherished son of Dorothy and the late Charles Rockett and brother of Lynne (George) Sutherland. Jim will be remembered by his special nieces; Lori and Libby and by his extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his brother Thomas.

Jim was a long time member of the Ontario Harness Horseman’s Association, O.A. Club, Navy Club, Woodstock Curling Club, Kinsmen Club and Woodstock Royal Canadian Legion Br. #55. Most notably Jim will be remembered as owner and operator of Rockett Flowers nearly 40 years.

A private time of remembrance will be held by the family.
