DOAN, James Lawrence ‘Jimmy’ Doan Obituary

DOAN, James Lawrence ‘Jimmy’ – Of Stoney Creek, passed away at the Ridgeview Long Term Care Centre in Stoney Creek on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the age of 85 years.

Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Merton) (2010).

Dear brother of Mary Lou Elsaesser of Mentor, Ohio, Edward (Ted) Doan of Hamilton and Harvey Doan of Quebec.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife he was predeceased by his parents Reginald and Pearl (Reakes) Doan and his sister Betty Beck.

Mr. Doan worked for Ford Motor Company in quality control for many years from where he retired in 1990.

The Doan family will receive visitors at the Davidson funeral home, 135 Clarence St., Port Colborne, Ontario on Saturday, October 17th from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will follow.

If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
