JAMES, Patience Virginia James

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 10th, 2025 at 6:50 am, at the Ajax Lakeridge Hospital in her 80th year. Treasured soul, beloved wife of husband Joseph James, loving Mother and Mother-in-law of Dale, Shane, Sandra and Maria James. Cherished Nana of Tyler, Jessica, Noah, Evan and Connor James.

She lived a beautiful life that was filled with laughter and joy and made everlasting memories of the life she once lived.

She has now joined her husband “Joe” who she promised she would meet again one day and can now pick up from where they left off and continue back on their journey of life together.

We want to thank our Mom for always being there for us, for standing up for what she believes in and for teaching us the values life has to offer. Mom helped mold us into strong men and taught us how to overcome barriers and to always believe that there is nothing you can’t ever accomplish. She had a strong faith in the Lord and always put her family first, especially, her grandkids, who were her life.

She was a loving sister and sister-in-law who played the part of a mother figure at times to help protect her own siblings and keep them safe and never took credit.

Patty James will be fondly remembered for all the love and care she had for her family, friends and acquaintances. May her soul rest in peace!

Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, September 19th from 5 – 8 p.m.

Chapel Service will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 Kings Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday September 20th at 10:30am.
